Students from 3rd "A" class visited a Christmas bread-making workshop at the National Ethnographic Museum

Today, the students of the 3rd "A" class experienced an unforgettable lesson in tradition and creativity in a Christmas workshop organized at the National Ethnographic Museum. The young students immersed themselves in the spirit of the upcoming holidays by learning about the Bulgarian customs related to Christmas.

During the workshop, the children had the opportunity to knead bread themselves, following the instructions. As they shaped the dough, they learned about the symbolism of bread in Christmas rituals and the meaning of the different shapes and decorations that are used for the holiday ritual breads.

Museum experts fascinatingly told about Christmas Eve traditions, carols and customs that gather families around the table. The students asked questions and shared their impressions about the holiday customs in their homes.

The visit ended with a photo of the bakery products. The workshop inspired the students to preserve and pass on the Bulgarian traditions, as well as to welcome the upcoming holidays with a lot of warmth and affection.
